Guest Comments & Notes How precious and dear, the comments, spoken, or written in the guestroom journals by gracious and thoughtful guests. Some are short and “pithy” while others are creatively poetic and still others are simply touching and loving sentiments. How uplifting and encouraging, particularly during the slower, colder seasons, to read and reflect on exhilarating conversations; shared joys and sometimes, sorrows; the music, and how could we forget the laughter. Thank you all for the joy and the grace you have brought to this place. You, indeed, light up our lives. July, 2007 Our stay was so pleasant and comfortable. The room was spacious and gave a real feeling of being at home. Everything was done in a timely fashion, breakfast, room maintenance, and things of that sort. Our recommendations will most definitetly promote the East Tawas Junction! Thanks for everything, J&J
December , 2005 We were most blessed to have an elegant and brilliant young business man stay with us for over a year for three days a week. He was assigned to another area this past week. What can we say about the vacuum he left when even the weekend guests are much like saying goodbye to family. Jerry wrote: Thank you so much for the past year. You guys have been excellent hosts and I cannot begin to express my gratitude. You have made my stay in Tawas that much more memorable. Thank you.
Thanksgiving, 2006 - a cheerful note from gracious guests who resided in the Chickadee Guesthouse over the Thanksgiving Holiday as they visited with family in the area. Good Morning, Chickadee's: We so enjoyed our stay here! Chickakee House was warm, inviting, comfortable - snuggled into a 10 degree morning! Thank you so much.
Brief, thoughtful and to the point: "Thank you for a lovely stay .....again! Have a wonderful day. Take care" - JoAnne S. This note left on the bed by a repeat business traveler, a very busy gal.
Some “pithy” comments: “This Place has the Magic” Kent M. (We asked Kent if we could use this in some of our advertising. He consented and was appreciatively rewarded with a free night’s lodging!)
Love….the house, the room,
We landed at Don and Leigh’s door An Excerpt from a Journal entry:
“We were going to stay in a local hotel – we are so pleased we didn’t. Staying here made our one night special instead of ordinary.” R&D
